About SJC Activities & Excursions

School Excursions and Activities are an important part of school life in Australia. These programs are designed in line with the school curriculum so at St James College, all students are expected to attend planned activities to meet the outcomes of course requirements.

Excursions give students an opportunity to experience Australian culture and discover what makes Australians unique as well as give greater depth to the classroom experience.

Previous Excursions

Some recent St James Excursions and Activities have included a trip to the Blue Mountains, extremely popular visit to the school by an Australian reptile handler, a tour of the highly acclaimed Powerhouse Museum in Sydney and a day at the Royal Easter Show which showcases Australian agriculture.
