What is my Attendance?Attendance is the percentage of classes you actually attend. Attendance is obtained by scanning your student card each lesson. Your attendance is available online via ISIS in your student account. Attendance data is updated daily. It is based on the number of attended scans for each class, not the number of days in a term. Click here for more information about Attendance How do I get a Student Card?You bring a passport size photo to student services, and on the back you write your name, date of birth and your student number (if you know it). Then you can pick up the card the following morning before class. This card must be with you at all times whilst in the college. What happens if I am sick?You must contact Student Services if you are absent for more than 1 day and let them know you are sick. You should see a doctor and get a medical certificate. Within two weeks of returning to college after your illness, you should take your doctor’s certificate to Student Services so they can enter the dates into your account. You must keep the original doctor’s certificate to show DIMIA if they ask for it. How can I find out about the College Rules and Policies?Click to see the College Rules and Policies How can I find my results, reports and attendance?Students, parents, agents, teachers and student services can view all student records through ISIS (Internet Student Information System) 24x7. https://isis3.isis-systems.com.au/ Can my parents come to Australia to visit the College and me?Yes, students can download an Enrolment Confirmation Certificate from ISIS (Internet Student Information System). Your parents need to hand their visit application form (obtained from the Immigration Department) together with your Enrolment Confirmation Certificate and some other relevant document to the College. Click here to log on to ISIS What is the Refund Policy?The enrolment fee is payable once only and is not refundable. All other fees will be refunded in full if a visa application is rejected and you provide the college with the rejection letter. Course fees will not be refunded after commencement of a course. Click here for the full Refund Policy Can I work while I'm studying?Yes, you can work on a student visa. Maximum working hours are 20 hours per week during semester and unlimited during holidays. How can I get permission to work on my study visa?You go to the Immigration Department office at 20-24 Lee Street, Sydney and pick up a 157P form OR download the form from the DIMIA website: Click here to download the DIMIA 157p form After you fill in the form and bring it to Student Services to get the College stamp, you then need to hand it back to the Immigration Department to get it approved. Can the College organise a homestay, guardianship or airport pickup?Yes. The college should be notified 2 weeks in advance or organise homestay and airport pick-up. The college is the guardian for students under 18 years of age. They can access most websites from computers in the College. All students have a College Email Account that they are expected to check regularly. Student Health Cover is provided by Medibank. One year of health cover is currently $312 AU. |
