About St James College (SJC)

St James College (SJC) is an Australian Independent Senior High School offering Years 10, 11 and 12. We are based in Sydney and have many international students. We offer a supportive environment for students away from their families and community, and work with students to achieve their best possible results.

All High Schools in Australia are Government regulated. St James College is accredited by the Board of Studies, a section of the NSW Department of Education. SJC is registered to enrol both local and international students. Our CRICOS Code is 02571D.

A real Australian High School experience

SJC boasts a real high school experience for international students. We have: a school uniform; regular excursions and activities; a soccer and a basketball team that compete in interschool championships; an annual Year 11 camp; a Year 12 graduation ceremony and formal; and a House System.

Results

SJC students consistently achieve high results in the HSC Examination (allowing entry to University). 70% of our students are offered places in Australian Universities, which is comparable to other selective and independent Schools in NSW. Only 30% of students at Government schools are offered places at Australian Universities.
